The Investments Data & Analytics Manager will be responsible for developing the data and analytics function and strategy by evaluating the quality, security, and efficiency of the current company data, and data management processes. Continuously drive value creation from data and analytics perspective, and to accelerate data-driven decision-making.

To be successful as a Data & Analytics Manager you need to have Extensive knowledge of processes and methodologies of data management throughout the lifecycle. We believe that you have a strong knowledge of the data landscape, and an understanding of constantly changing technologies that enable the use and management of data of large volume, velocity, and variety.

As a person, you are excited about making complex topics simple and you are passionate about the possibilities of data and its value for business. We think that you are inspired by solving-real world problems with a strategic approach and bringing them into reality.

You have a bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, computer science, or equivalent. Strong leadership experience in a large organization working with information technology, business information management, and data operations.

We believe that you recognize yourself in some of the bullet points below:

  • Strong knowledge of data usage trends and possibilities at large scales and/or platforms
  • Solid understanding of statistical analysis, data visualization, and data mining techniques
  • Strong knowledge of data formats, structures, and database design
  • Strong knowledge of Machine Learning (ML) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) and the role that high-quality data plays in the development of advanced analytical models and algorithms
  • Extensive knowledge of master data and metadata management practices
  • Extensive knowledge of the challenges and importance of data literacy in an organization
  • Extensive knowledge of data privacy regulations, including trends and upcoming legislative agendas
  • Good knowledge of new and emerging tools for extracting, ingesting, and processing of large datasets. Modern cloud-based technologies GCP, AWS, Azure
  • Good knowledge of digital product development principles and the importance of rapidly validated learning cycles to optimize performance long term

Your responsibilities

As a Data & Analytics Manager you will be responsible for the overall performance of Data and Analytics within Ingka Investments, ranging from the delivery of tactical day-to-day insights, the implementation and application of Data and Analytics solutions and the definition of the Data and Analytics strategy within the area.

You lead the development and adoption of analytics solutions and innovation, partnering across initiatives and functions within Ingka.
You will develop the approach for data lifecycle management, and establish a "data-by-design" methodology to enable improved regulatory, leg
al, and internal compliance on data topics and the overall quality of data used in business processes and analytics. You will also drive the implementation of data management capabilities from business and data perspectives, securing Ingka Investments cross-portfolio and overall Ingka Group data optimization.

The position will be located in the Netherlands, and you will report to the Digital Technology Manager for INGKA Investments.
