OMA’s Rotterdam office is looking for an experienced Junior architect to join our office in the coming months.
As a Junior Architect at OMA, you will work within a team on projects in all work stages, from concept design through to the technical and construction phases. In this position you will be expected to contribute to concepts and design ideas, create renders and collages, draft technical and design drawings, build physical models and create presentations. The selected candidate will report directly to their Project Leader or Associate in charge of the project, and ultimately to the Partner in charge.
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in architecture, urban planning, design or another related field;
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an international architecture or design office;
- Confidence in working in a complex and fast-paced environment;
- Experience on large scale architecture and/ or urban design projects;
- Strong conceptual, graphic and design skills;
- Practical experience in early design phases such as concept and schematic design;
- Strong Revit, AutoCAD, 3D Max, Rhino, Adobe Creative Suite skills;
- Further technical and computational design skills are a strong asset;
- Fluency in spoken and written English;
- Dutch and/ or other additional languages are a strong advantage;
- Knowledge of OMA’s work.
