The Maintenance and Reliability Engineer is responsible for the technical frameworks in the field of maintenance technology and supporting maintenance systems. Main responsibilities include:- In consultation with the Maintenance and Reliability Lead and/or OpEx Lead: drawing up the business goals of technical systems, in order to determine the degree of maintenance and reliability.
- Drawing up, managing and adjusting the Maintenance Concept Matrixes (OHCM) and the Maintenance Decision Matrixes (OHBM) based on risk analysis.
- Changes and Change Management: Prepares technical specifications for equipment changes.
- Ensuring the correct structure of objects of the Maintenance and Information System (OIS).
- Assess whether new or amended maintenance contracts can be accepted by the IPT, in consultation with the Maintenance Specialist in CoE OpEx.
- Analyzing maintenance data to identify areas for improvement and implementing enhancements.
- Providing first and second line support, guiding technicians, and troubleshooting issues.
- Contributing maintenance requirements to projects and leading improvement initiatives.
- Continuously enhancing professional knowledge and promoting knowledge sharing. Collaborating with peers, implementing uniform working methods, and shaping joint policies.
- Ensuring EHS compliance and promoting a safe, healthy, and environmentally responsible work environment.
Supplement for level 2
- Training of upcoming Maintenance & Reliability Engineers. Provides functional management to technicians within IPT/CoE.
- Being able to fulfill a Subject Matter Expert role.
- Highly developed advisory skills.
- Can make connections across IPTs contributing to improved supporting methodologies.
- Auditing maintenance contractors on quality of maintenance services to be provided.
- Highly developed skills in problem solving techniques.
- Can be used in multiple disciplines.
- Ensures knowledge assurance within IPT/CoE. Supports Maintenance & Reliability Lead to get or keep the knowledge of the maintenance department at the right level.
- Acts as a substitute in the absence of the Maintenance & Reliability Lead.
What you'll need to succeed
- HBO/Academic education in the field of (Electrical/Industrial Automation/Maintenance) engineering
- Minimum 5 years of experience in maintenance
- Knowledge of GMP and HSE guidelines
- Mastering the Dutch/English language in word and writing
- Willing to become Green belt certified
- Customer oriented
- Strong analytical insight
